Winter Stations is an annual international design competition in Toronto, transforming unused lifeguard towers at Kew and Woodbine beaches into temporary winter art installations. Now in its 11th year, the 2025 theme, Dawn, explores transformation and renewal. We’re thrilled to announce that our undergraduate team—Jade Yu Tung Wong, Arjun Jain, Finn Ferrall, Marko Sikic, and Nick Kisil, guided by Professor Vincent Hui—has won with Solair, an installation that uses light, wind, and reflection to create a dynamic, interactive experience, capturing the ephemeral beauty of dawn. Visit the exhibition before it closes on March 30th, 2025.
