DAS is commemorating over 75 years of architectural education with DAS Bash, a month-long exhibition at the Paul H. Cooper Gallery, running until November 28, 2024. The event launched on October 24 with a vibrant gathering of alumni, students, and faculty. It features archival displays, interactive exhibits, and a 20-meter-long timeline charting DAS’s evolution since its inception in 1948.
Highlights include a large-scale interactive model of the Architecture Building, Pecha Kucha presentations by notable alumni, and a reflection on DAS’s transformative journey from its roots as a School of Architectural Draughting to its current status as a multidisciplinary hub of Architecture, Building Science, and Project Management. Visitors are encouraged to engage with the displays, fostering new narratives and visions for the future. Curated by DAS faculty, students, and alumni, the exhibition underscores the department’s legacy of innovation and community engagement! |
